This pretty midi dress was designed by Kitty Copeland in London during the 1960s and was a premier ready-to-wear British label which sold in the best department stores of the day. It is tailored from a very high quality polished cotton patterned with painterly florals in shades of turquoise, blue, green and purple. Cut to a sleeveless shift-dress style, it has a flattering boat-neckline and a nipped-in waist that creates a timeless hourglass silhouette. This joyful, highly wearable summer dress has a full, pleated skirt that falls to the bottom of the calf on most wearers and swirls around the wearer as they walk. This dress is fastened with a hidden tonal turquoise zip at the rear and a hook-and-eye clasp. Inside the neck, it contains the original silver-on-black Kitty Copeland label.

Presented in excellent vintage condition, this dress has no flaws of any note and is very fresh looking for a dress from this era. Due to its age, there are no composition or size labels. The fabric has no stretch. We believe it would best fit sizes up to a UK 10-12, US 6-8 with a smaller waist size.
